Breast Pain Clinic

PROMs & PREMs

The primary objective of the breast pain clinic project is to gather Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREMs) in a systematic manner, with the aim of obtaining comprehensive insights into the experiences of persons who are seeking medical attention for breast pain. By employing a comprehensive and patient-centered methodology, the project utilizes a customized survey designed via REDCap® to collect in-depth feedback regarding different facets of the patient experience, such as communication with healthcare professionals, diagnostic procedures, and overall contentment with the quality of care provided. The accessibility of the platform’s user-friendly design promotes active patient engagement by facilitating their provision of valuable feedback. The utilization of REDCap’s data management functionalities within the project guarantees the establishment of a secure and confidential system for the storage and analysis of Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREMs) data. This system further facilitates the implementation of ongoing quality improvement measures. The findings derived from this investigation possess the capacity to augment the services provided by the breast pain clinic, effectively address patient issues, and ultimately boost overall patient happiness within the therapeutic environment.
